those "crazy muslim insurgents"

i'm getting so sick of people saying to "blame those crazy muslim insurgents" for the war. seriously?

don't get me wrong; i don't support their violent actions over there, but it also drives me insane that the people who jump to blame "those crazy muslim insurgents" are the some of the same people who i'd expect to be the "crazy american insurgents" if the situation were reversed.

if the superpower of the earth were a muslim nation (not that i completely concede that we are a christian nation), and they invaded us for not cooperating with UN inspections (or for our natural resources... like... corn?), i don't doubt that there'd be americans armed to the teeth and pretty much behaving the way those "crazy muslim insurgents" are behaving , with the difference of maybe suicide bombers (suicide being a christian sin and all).

again, it's not that i support the actions of the insurgency. i just find it painfully ironic that those who criticize the insurgents the most seem to be the ones that are most likely to be like them.
