idiots

okay... so i'm headed to class this morning, and walking along the side of egg, i see this giant shower of ice in front of me. you know, since it snowed last night, and then it turned to ice and freezing rain (aka "wintry mix"), it became like... slightly melted then refrozen snowcones. kinda crunchy and chunky. anyway... these two girls that were approaching when the sheet fell (there was a guy that was pretty much under it, but it didn't actually land on anybody), stood there staring at it, and then one goes "run!"

...

okay... if the shit on top of the roof around there has already fallen down... shouldn't you be more worried about the rest of the stretch?

one of them figured it out while they were running. and said something. but... they... kept... running... <growls>

why?

the second incident of the day came when i got home from dinner. matt had sent me a link... he'd, unfortunately, only read the description, not the actual content.

now, all the crap about stuff not existing is one thing... okay, so maybe this guy's a horrible googler. and the mpaa's release was a word document. fine, whatever...

As one top Texas lawyer kindly put it "Dallas courts have no presidence in this case because Lokitorrent.com was never hosted on Texas ISP servers. The owner of Lokitorrent is not a resident of Texas, and the MPAA's main offices are not in Texas. The MPAA has no reason in the world to sue in Dallas, but even if they did have presidence and sued in Dallas, you can be sure that the due dilligence on a case like this would take years. No way in the world could the MPAA have won a court case of this magnitude in just one month"

okay... one thing, deathmage... is *name* your source. but i doubt the guy could, because... a lawyer would know the difference between "presidence" (does he mean precedence?) and jurisdiction. and i'm not even sure of what he was trying to say with the rest of it. what's "due dilligence"?

idiots.

You're gorgeous.

And doilies as an artform are very underrated.
